My family decided it was time for a change, time to pack up the house and move to new surroundings, see the world, meet new people, that kind of stuff… Well… We moved house… 11 meters, to the house literally behind our house… MASSIVE MOVE!
I am now sitting in my new “study/office” and occupy the entire eastern side of the new house, it’s pretty big compared to our last place, but it has some downfalls. For starters, when you move house (11 meters), and keep your old phone number, nomatter how fkn simple it might seem for my internet provided to just go “ok, move”, it’s apparently the biggest deal of the fucking century, fire and brimstone falling from the sky, people dying, children screaming, tears of blood, that kind of shit.
It will apparently take 7 to 10 days to get my internet up again, so for the time being, I’m stuck on shitty old 56k, BACK IN THE 90s!
Meanwhile, the efforts to get my life out of my parents house seems to of failed. I finally got my contract returned, and got my pay all fixed up, with the sexy $ amount on the contract, but no confirmed location, so I’m in limbo for another 2 to 3 months. Not long enough to get an apartment, and not short enough to leave my dignity intact.
Looks like my asshole friends will have to put up with me until I finally get a location that is definite, but for now, it’s looking like either Sydney or Hong Kong. I’m confident I’ll get told a location one day 
But for now, I’m working my ass off, just got the (temporary?) gaming section up for Onevillage (http://gaming.onevillage.com.au) and have started work on the new domain it will live under.
Logo development is pretty easy, for a gaming site, all you need is splatters of vectors and some high contrasting colours, so for the moment, it is as follows:
You get the basic idea of what would happen with animation, sprays etc, it’s very MTV, and a bit of a rip on current trends for it’s target audience, but hey, if it sells, it sells.
