Toying around with something like the following:
blarghf

Webservers I hosted sonuku.com on died in the explosion at the server room in texas. Pretty annoying! So I packed up my bags and moved to hosting within Australia. It’s on Jumba hosting atm, which amounts to overstacked shared hosting with slowass databases… But hey. Its cheap, and so am I!
Trying to get everything up and running again, and am in the process of re-developing Dump (When I get spare time at work)…
Uhh, what else… All the comments got nuked, and I cant’t be screwed to import them… I had a girlfriend and now don’t, and I’ve been going to the gym.
Might need to re-skin this blog too. >_>
Hazaa.
Cameras are awesome fun~
Took some shitty photos of people on the weekend, with the intention of making them look shit.

Also got into another arts and crafts mood, and made some pirate hats! I need to make myself another cardboard robot suit soon… Maybe next weekend…

What else… Watched some good movies other last few days… I recommend:
Shinobi – Heart Under Blade
Its basically about two warring shinobi clans in the 16th century Japan, and its got some kickass fight scenes, not ultra violence, but a pretty powerful story.
Old Boy
A South Korean -ultra violence- psy thriller, fucking mindfuck ending, WELL worth watching… If i say anymore I’ll giuve the ending away, but there is some AWESOME fight scenes, and a heap of blood.
and the other one I watched last night was…
A Bittersweet Life
Not nearly as violent or as fast as Old Boy, but still graphic, alot of blood at the end, and a pretty intense fight scene in the middle.
If you like subtitled movies (like me) watch these trailers, and get a hold of these movies any way you can!
So, picked up my Nokia n95 the other day form the post office… I needed a phone, and iPhones don’t come out in Australia for like a year… So n95 seemed like a good choice.

So fars its been working pretty rad, got it hooked up to outlook and crap at work, so it cries at me when I have shit to do, and the 3D snake is awesome win. I noticed if i left it plugged into USB, the battery promptly goes flat… So thats a mental note…
But like, its got a fucking 5 mega pixel camera! So infact I didn’t buy a phone, I bought a camera with extra shit on it… Oh, and it plays music & porn, but all phones do that. I guess I just like it because it’s mine.
Alot of people bitched and moaned about the battery life, but if its not plugged into USB, it lasts fine. I used it all night Saturday, taking a heap of photos, and the battery was still full bars the next day… Speaking of which, happy birthday Bron, hope you find your camera.
Luke successfully wins the shittest photo of the night award.

Theres some more photos up at Flickr
According to all my mates, I’ll lose this phone within the month. Bringing my grand total of lost mobile phones to 13 or 14, I lose count.
Oh, and i also reskinned http://spam.sonuku.com to look like this shitty entry page, but if you dont already have a spam account, you wont really care, because you cant have one.
Two weeks ago, started working full time at a place called 108, its a small studio that operates inside another company, and gets its contracts via exclusivity deals etc. Pretty win. I started on and took the role of mainly a programmer for PHP and AJAX, but also the multimedia development stuff too.
So, after two weeks, it’s fkn awesome! There is a pool table in the kitchen, play pool at lunch etc, the only drawback is its in Fyshwick, which is about 30km from my place, and in peak hour traffic… 30km is AIDS. Got first paycheque, and went and got some shoes.
What else… Chris is getting married! What the fuck. 23yr olds don’t get married! Had a party at his place last night, he fuzzes off over to America on 4th July to go marry Alexandra. Seems rushed to me, but I guess I have no idea how long he has actually been dating/talking to/seeing Alex…
So yeah! Will wait and see. Plus it makes me feel fucking bad that my mates are getting married and moving, and I haven’t even found a useful girlfriend
One day! Meh, at least I have a couch to crash on in random places around the world now
My car died 3 times this week, the alternator and distributer are boned, so I had to get it towed from random locations at random times, its also pretty shit when you break down on a single lane busy road, in the middle of an intersection… Everyone is happy enough to beep at you and yell, but no fuckers would help me get it out of the way… I ended up just leaving it in the way and walking to the taxi rank at the airport (1.5km away)
A friend from the internets died in a car crash in New Zealand this week, which I guess eats a dick. I didn’t know his in real life, but the friendship connection still means something. link.
Thats about all that happened.
Bam
Ok, just threw up this website today, been designing it under direction from Amon, colours, layout, style etc, basically making an organized mess of colour on the screen that holds… stuff!

So thats all done, and it’s now in their hands to administer and keep working! The joys of wordpress. Yes, it’s very purple, yes it’s meant to be, yes they requested it to be!
I don’t care what anyone says, if your computer is awesome, put Vista on it now! It’s so god damn sexy! After about an hour of tweaking, removing smooth scrolling, editing widgets setting up folders/file structure/drivers, everything works excellent!
Edit: Yes, I fucking have Scissor Sisters CD, get over it. And Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a good movie >_<
Thats running on my 3 monitors, centre one is a 22″ crt with two smaller screens off to the side. Yarrgh, pretty awesome OS Microsoft has come up with.
Job hunting, probably the worst hunting game ever. Throwing yourself before people in an attempt to be liked… It’s almost like being in year 6, and you’re trying to be friends with someone because they’ve got chips in their lunchbox. Sure, they may of beat you up in the past, but they have snacks, and you don’t!
Adrenalin pumps for the first minute of the interview, you talk 87387 miles an hour, and at the end, you leave feeling like you just got laid. Had a good interview Wednesday week, still waiting to hear from them, in the meantime tho, time to read the Saturday adverts in the newspaper!
Well, figured out that I’ve done everything the hard way once again
I overlooked XML-RPC when making the XML data exchanges for Onevillage and its CRM and user servers. Basically reinventing the wheel. If you ever need to get content moved and executed remotely, I suggest looking into XML-RPC, and saving yourself from writing up XML master and slave functions.
Found a pretty good introductory crash course on it, all makes 100% sense. Check it!! I just can’t believe I overlooked this before. Gotta keep up to date!
I remember hearing something about XML-RPC before I started my bridges, but thought it would be a waste of time to learn it as what I had to do was quite straight forward. Server sends command over XML to slave, slave interprets it, and executes function… Which is EXACTLY what XML-RPC does, just probably more efficiently
BEH!
